SUMMERVILLE, SC (WCSC) - This time last year, Flowertown saw temperatures in the 70s and sunny skies, but Sunday was a different story, with temps starting in the 40s.
With the chill and rain on Friday, vendors said they saw attendance drop this year. Still, many braved the cold Sunday to get out and see the beautiful festival.
Now in its 43rd year, it had a variety of events, from a kids festival to crafts from 200-jury selected artists.
There was also live music and lots of food from local restaurants.
So while the crowds weren't as big this year because of the weather, vendors and everyone who came out said it was still a great year for Flowertown.
Next year, they said, they'll hope for better weather.
The festival wraps up Sunday at 4 p.m.
