CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - If you haven't voiced your concerns about offshore drilling off the Lowcountry coast and still want to do so, you're almost out of time.
The federal government has been accepting comments on the issue and has already received thousands. But the deadline to add yours to those numbers is 11:59 p.m. Monday.
Charleston, James Island, Folly, Isle Of Palms, Edisto, Beaufort and Hilton Head have joined at several other coastal communities to come out against offshore drilling.
There are concerns over endangering fisheries and the coastal tourism industry.
Supports say it means thousands of new jobs and more revenue for coastal states.
