CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - The Budweiser Clydesdales are bringing the celebration for their 82nd anniversary with Anheuser-Busch to the Lowcountry for events taking place from April 22 to April 26.
Their visit kicks off on Wednesday at Park Circle in North Charleston from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., starting on Jenkins Ave. & E. Montague.
On Thursday, they will visit the RiverDogs at Joe Riley Stadium in Charleston as part of the Brewmaster Tour. At 5 p.m. they will set up in Brittlebank Park, where the public is free to visit. They will march into Joe Riley Stadium at 6:30 p.m.
On Saturday, the Clydesdales will be available for public viewing from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at The Grove, located at 40 Patriots Point Road in Mount Pleasant.
On Sunday, they will march in the Daniel Island Parade at 3:30 p.m. They will begin on Benefitfocus Way in Charleston.
During their visit to Joe Riley Stadium, Southern Eagle Distributing will present three Folds of Honor scholarships to local Charleston military families.
“Fans of all ages will enjoy seeing the iconic Clydesdales, who represent Budweiser, one of our premier and longtime sponsors,” said RiverDogs General Manager Dave Echols. “Having them parade around Riley Park will be a most-impressive sight.”
The Brewmaster Tour will offer guests over the age of 21 the opportunity to learn more about the Budweiser brewing process in a step-by-step view along a 48-foot trailer. Admission into the Brewmaster Tour is free.
