MONCKS CORNER, SC (WCSC) - The Berkeley County School Board interviewed two of its six final Superintendent candidates Monday night.
This superintendent search started with 94 applicants from 25 states. The board will interview another two candidates on Thursday and the remaining ones on Friday.
The board will handle everything in closed-door executive sessions.
While the board hasn't released the names of the six candidates, they will make the three finalists public, which is state law.
School board Chairman Kent Murray said they could release those names as early as Friday once the final interviews are complete.
