Dining Out for Life to raise money for local HIV/AIDS services

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) -

"Savor a meal, save a life." That's the goal behind the annual Ryan White "Dining Out For Life."

On Thursday, April 30, about thirty local restaurants and food trucks are donating a portion of their sales to support the Ryan White Wellness Center at Roper St. Francis Healthcare.

The Ryan White Wellness Center provides clinical and supportive services to over 700 individuals and families living with HIV/AIDS across the Charleston area. "Dining Out For Life" is a national event in over 60 cities across the U.S. and Canada, but the funds raised remain in each local community..

To participate, simply dine out at on of the participating restaurants on April 30. For a full list of participating restaurants, go to diningoutforlife.com.
