CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - A 29-year-old man arrested last week in connection with a bank robbery on Folly Road has now been charged in two additional bank robberies.
Yohana Hezekiah Corder was arrested on April 16 for allegedly robbing the TD Bank at 504 Folly Road on April 11. He was charged with entering a financial institution with intent to steal.
Charleston Police say an investigation revealed the West Ashley resident was also connected to two additional bank robberies, one at NBSC Bank on Sam Rittenberg Blvd. on February 10, and another at NBSC Bank at 337 Folly Road on April 8.
In all three robberies, police say Corder entered the bank and demanded money from a teller. He never produced a weapon or implied he was armed.
Corder is now facing three counts of entering a financial institution with the intent to steal.
He is being held at the Charleston County Detention Center.
