CHARLESTON COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - Emergency crews have cleared an accident near the Don Holt Bridge which was affecting traffic in both directions Thursday afternoon.
The Charleston Police Department says the accident happened at 4 p.m. and involved three cars.
The accident shut down two westbound lanes. In addition, authorities had shut down one eastbound lane to assist crews.
No serious injuries were reported.
CPD officials say transmission fluid and gasoline leaked onto the roadway which the fire department cleaned up.
The Charleston Fire and North Charleston Police departments were on the scene.
