CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - West Ashley motorists can expect a nighttime lane closure on Savannah Highway Wednesday evening.
Charleston County Government announced the lane closure will be at the intersection of Savannah Highway and Bees Ferry Road beginning Wednesday at 9 p.m. and running through Thursday at 5 a.m. The closure will be on the southbound acceleration lane from Bees Ferry Road.
Workers will be finishing asphalt repairs as a part of the Bees Ferry Road Widening Project.
Officials say an additional lane closure will occur at the intersection of Glenn McConnell Boulevard and Bees Ferry Road for crosswalk work.
Drivers are asked to use caution in these areas, as workers will be present.
