CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) -

The second suspect wanted for murder in connection with a downtown Charleston shooting that left one person dead and another injured in April has been captured.

Charleston police say Seth Smith, 34, was taken into custody Wednesday morning in Walterboro by U.S. Marshals.

Smith's brother, Bryant Smith, was previously arrested on murder charges related to the same incident.

According to an incident report, two men were found shot inside a vehicle in a parking lot on Reid Street on April 18 around 11:40 a.m.

The victims were taken to the hospital, where 27-year-old George Bennett died.

Police say the other victim, who was holding a toddler when he was shot, had non-life threatening injuries and has since been released.
