NORTH CHARLESTON (WCSC) - North Charleston police say two homes were struck by bullets Wednesday morning following reports of gunfire on Suffolk Street.
Police were called to the 2200 block of Suffolk Street near Accabee Road just before 4 a.m. for reports of shots fired in the area. The exterior of two nearby homes were struck by gunfire, but police say no one inside the homes were injured.
Officers say they were not able to locate any suspects or victims at the scene.
According to police, a group of approximately five males were seen on foot in the area just before the shots were fired.
The shooting is under investigation.
