The aquarium held a sea turtle release for five Kemp's Ridleys and one green sea turtle at at Isle of Palms County Park. Hundreds lined the beach to catch a glimpse of the healthy turtles and tell them goodbye as they returned home.
Joining folks from the South Carolina Aquarium were officials with South Carolina DNR and the Charleston County Park & Recreation.
