CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Hundreds of cyclists will pay tribute to people killed or injured while traveling on bicycles in the Charleston area in the annual Ride of Silence on Wednesday.
The police-escorted event, organized by Charleston Moves, is a local version of a global observance.
If you would like to take part, Charleston Moves will gather in the north parking lot of Hampton Park at 6:30 p.m. The ride will start at 7 p.m. Riders will return to the park within the hour.
The route will travel south on King Street, continuing on to Mary Murray Boulevard and then back north via Ashley Avenue.
