WEST ASHLEY, SC (WCSC) - Charleston police officials say some residents in the Grand Oaks subdivision will experience a power outage on Wednesday due to development work.
SCE&G will be in the area of Grand Oaks Boulevard and Bees Ferry Road from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. during which time customers will experience a power outage.
Police say about 140 customers in Grand Oaks will be affected.
The reason for the outage is so that SCE&G can provide service to a new phase of the subdivision that is being developed.
CPD officials say the outage may impact the traffic light at the intersection so citizens should plan accordingly.
