CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - The Charleston County Coroner's Office has identified a female motorcyclist who died Tuesday morning in a wreck on I-26.
Inna Lebedin, 29, was pronounced dead on the scene after wrecking her motorcycle on I-26 in North Charleston.
Around 2:00 a.m., police shut down I-26 westbound between the Spruill Avenue off ramp and the on ramp to North Meeting Street for the fatal single-vehicle accident.
The roadway was reopened around 4:40 a.m.
Chief Deputy Coroner Bobbi Jo O'Neal says Lebedin, who was wearing a helmet, died as a result of blunt head injury.
Charleston Police Department is investigating.
