Car repair company hosts food drive to benefit Low Country Food Bank

CHARLESTON COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - The Rhythm Restoration Food Drive hosted by Caliber Collision is returning for its fourth year to benefit the Low Country Food Bank.

From June 8 to 26, food collection bins will be set up at five Caliber Collision locations throughout Charleston. Customers and the public are encouraged to participate by dropping off non-perishable food items or cash donations.

Please note that the food bank cannot accept glass or open containers, perishable or homemade items.

The effort is a company-wide national food drive inspired by volunteer Caliber teammates. They have set a goal of providing 2 million meals this year for needy children and families.

"For too many children, no school means no lunch," said Steve Grimshaw, Caliber Collision's Chief Executive Officer. "Local food banks need extra help during the summer to ensure that those in need don't go hungry."

Caliber Collision has reported their commitment to a corporate matching contribution for local food banks based on the amount collected by local Caliber participants.

Donations may be brought to the following Caliber Collision locations:
