City offices relocating to Gaillard Municipal Building


CHARLESTON, SC - Many of Charleston City Departments on 75 Calhoun Street will be relocating to the Gaillard Municipal building this weekend.

The Gaillard has been undergoing a $140 million renovation.

City workers are relocating at least five city department offices to the Gaillard.

It is where the Charleston public service; planning, preservation and sustainability; process and service improvement; and revenue collection and the fire marshal will be located.

All city offices located on 75 Calhoun Street will be closed at noon Friday.

The offices at the Gaillard will open up at one o' clock on Monday.
