CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) -  A Veterans Information Expo will be held on Saturday at the Low Country Harley Davidson on 4707 Dorchester Road in Charleston.

The event takes place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. There is no cost, and lunch and entertainment will be provided.

Veterans will have an opportunity to learn more about programs and services at the local, state, and federal level that have been created for their benefit. A number of non-profit organizations will also be represented to meet with veterans.

“Instead of having to travel to different agencies on different parts of town, veterans will be able to talk to multiple representatives at one location," said Jennifer Oldal, Community Relations Manager of Low Country Harley-Davidson.

All veterans, current military and family members are invited.

“We want veterans to know that whatever assistance or benefits they qualify for are neither a gift nor a handout," said Randy Kent, Club President of the Warhorse Brotherhood MC veterans group. "Veterans earned these benefits when they set aside a portion of their lives to stand in defense of their country.”
