CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - For all kids wanting to learn everything about playing baseball, the Charleston RiverDogs will be hosting a three-day youth baseball camp from June 17 to 19.
Children will develop their skills in hitting, fielding, pitching, base running, bunting, and agility.
The camp is open to children between ages 6 and 13.
It takes place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. daily, at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park on 360 Fishburne Street in Charleston.
As a reward for their efforts, participants will receive evaluations from RiverDogs' players and coaches, have opportunities to collect autographs, and will take home a photo with a RiverDogs player. An awards ceremony will conclude the camp on the field before the first pitch of that night's game.
Cost of attendance is $150 for camp. The cost includes a RiverDogs goodie bag with a water bottle, camp t-shirt, lunch, and a ticket to the RiverDogs' game for each evening.
