The Dorchester County Coroner's Office says a 23-year-old man died from a gunshot wound to the head at a Summerville convenience store this past weekend.

The coroner's office says Travis Aaron Gordon of Goose Creek was shot twice.

According to officials with the Dorchester County Sheriff's Office, Gordon was fatally shot inside a Quick Food Mart at a BP gas station in the area of Dorchester Road and Highway 17 around 10 a.m. on Saturday.

At 9:50 a.m., deputies responded to the Quick Food Mart on 2703 Highway 17-A South for shots being fired.
