Police arrest man wanted for burglary at downtown Charleston construction site

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - The Charleston Police Department says authorities have arrested a 56-year-old man accused of a burglary at a construction site in downtown Charleston.

Investigators arrested Ronald Carr Smalls who was wanted for third-degree burglary and property crime enhancement.

On Monday, officers responded to a home on Coming Street for a theft from a building.

The victim said someone had forced open a side door, and several construction tools were missing including three ladders.
