BCSO: Man wanted for shooting stepfather in Summerville

BERKELEY COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - Berkeley County investigators are searching for a 26-year-old man who they say used a shotgun to shoot his stepfather at a home in Summerville Tuesday night.

Authorities are searching for Lakendrick Dante Pryor.

Berkeley County Sheriff's deputies responded to a shooting on Pooh Lane in the Sheep Island section of Summerville.

Deputies arrived to find the 47-year-old victim with shotgun wounds to both legs and his right wrist.

Witnesses said the victim and Pryor, who also resides at the Pooh Lane address, had gotten into a verbal altercation which developed into a physical altercation.

Witnesses told investigators that the two split up and Pryor left, only to return with a shotgun and shoot the victim.

The victim was transported to the hospital and treated for non-life-threatening wounds. BCSO officials say he was listed in stable condition at a local hospital.
