CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) -

Authorities say a torso found at a marina in Charleston on Tuesday belonged to a North Charleston man who had last been seen in September.

The Charleston County Coroner's Office said the remains belong to 30-year-old McCoy Wright. A partial human leg found in the marina on June 13 also belonged to Wright, authorities said.

Deputy Coroner Brittney Martin said DNA testing confirmed the remains belonged to Wright.

According to the Charleston Police Department, the torso was found in the area of Dolphin Cove Marina off of Austin Avenue. Emergency officials got the call for a report of a body at 7:54 p.m.

Bystanders reported that a neighbor shouted at and alerted them to the body.

Police, fire and EMS responded to the incident.

On June 13, a worker found a partial human leg in the area of the marina.

Wright was last seen on Sept. 26 when North Charleston police officers responded to the Westmoreland Bridge after authorities say two men went over the side.

North Charleston police say Wright pushed his co-worker off the bridge, and then jumped into the Ashley River after him.

The co-worker said he last saw Wright splashing in the water and was swimming towards the West Ashley side of the river.
