The Charleston Police Department says a 49-year-old Ladson man wanted for stalking has been found.
Authorities say Michael Stern Davis of Ladson is in custody.
The victim said he was riding his bike on July 19 when he noticed a silver van parked at the intersection of Darling and Mount Pleasant Street in downtown Charleston.
According to the victim, he said the vehicle was familiar to him and belonged to Davis who police say had been engaged in harassment and stalking type behavior with the victim for a year.
A police report states, the victim saw Davis walking from the victim's home to his vehicle.
At that point, the victim said he ran inside his home and called police.
The victim said surveillance video, which was given to CPD, showed Davis near the rear of his home, attaching a piece of paper near the front door of the apartment.
The victim told investigators that at some point, Davis returned to the front door and took the piece of paper back before he left the scene.
A CPD report states Davis has a prior conviction for harassment and part of the agreement was for him to stay way from the victim's property.
