Beaufort invites volunteers to help clean up Spanish Moss Trail

BEAUFORT COUNTY, SC (WCSC) -

Volunteers are asked to come out for a litter cleanup event being held by the Beaufort County Public Works Department, Keep Beaufort County Beautiful, the City of Beaufort, and the Friends of the Spanish Moss Trail.

The cleanup will take place on a portion of the Spanish Moss Trail from Roseida Road to Parris Island Gateway.

The event will be on August 11 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Participants will gather at the Spanish Moss Trail Head on Roseida Road in Beaufort.

Individuals attending are asked to bring water, snacks and gloves. Trash bags and pick-up tools will be provided.
