MT. PLEASANT, SC (WCSC) - Kicking off his Cruz Country Tour in Mount Pleasant Friday, Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz said the proposed nuclear arms deal with Iran will help finance terrorists.

The Texas senator took jabs at President Obama's policies and accused the president of wanting to finance terrorists through the proposed arms deal with Iran.

"That means billions of dollars in the control of the American government will go to Jihadists who will use them to murder Americans, to murder Israelis, to murder Europeans, those are the facts, Cruz said.

The presidential hopeful also said if elected he will repeal Obamacare, close down the IRS and propose a flat tax rate.

Cruz also said he can't wait to stand on the debate stage with Hillary Clinton if we wins the Republican Party's nomination.
