RIDGEVILLE, SC (WCSC) - The two victims found shot to death outside a nightclub in Ridgeville each died of a single gunshot wound to the head, according to the coroner.

The victims were 38-year-old Tyrone Cummings and 32-year-old Debra Denise Farmer Bazzle, both of Ridgeville, according to Dorchester County Coroner Chris Nisbet. The manner of death is homicide and the Dorchester County Sheriff's Office is investigating, Nisbet said.

Nisbet said the victims lived together, however the Dorchester County Sheriff's Office is not saying what the relationship was between the two.

Capt. Tony Phinney with the sheriff's office said Cummings' and Bazzle's bodies were found by a resident just before 6:15 a.m. Friday on a road beside the 8 Ball Club on Beach Street.

Crime scene technicians worked the scene while detectives spoke with neighbors and family members of the victims.

The owner of the club says it is only open on Thursday and Saturday nights.

"I came out here running, see what's going on and they told me they find two bodies in the road," George Sanders said. "I didn't know what happened. I figured somebody might have shoot them and drive them up there and threw them there, whatever, I don't know."

A woman who lives next door to the Eight Ball Club said this is not the Ridgeville she knows.

"I was shocked, I was real shocked yeah," Jasmine Witherspoon said. "We don't see a lot of this in Ridgeville. Ridgeville is a good place to live."

Authorities have not specified a possible motive in the shooting.

According to the owner, there has been one shooting prior to the incident.
