CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) -

A flash flood warning for Charleston and Berkeley counties has been canceled.

The warning was for areas including North Charleston, Mount Pleasant, Hanahan, downtown Charleston, I-26/I-526 interchange, Isle of Palms and Sullivan's Island.

Throughout the afternoon and evening hours authorities reported a number of roadways closed due to flooding.

Mt. Pleasant police report one lane each way on Coleman at Moultrie Middle is open due to flooding, and traffic is heavy in that area.

South Market has since been reopened after closing for flooding, according to Charleston police.
