CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - For Earl Grant, it's all about building relationships.
The College of Charleston's second-year men's basketball coach is off to a quick start, just days shy of the 2015-16 academic year.
Saturday, his team doubled as a moving company. helping dozens of incoming students move into their dorms, lifting box after box, and climbing stair after stair.
" I told them when we first got started, we've come to help people move in so expect to sweat," Grant said.
"At the end of the day, I'm sure we'll feel like we had a good workout."
Grant, who lifted his share of boxes, said he did the same during his years at Clemson University.
"We just want to help out, that's all."
The team helped students move in to McAlister, Liberty and McConnell residence halls for nearly four hours Saturday.
Classes begin on the C of C campus, Tuesday.
