WEST ASHLEY, SC (WCSC) - Charleston police officers arrested a 38-year-old West Ashley man wanted for second-degree harassment Monday night.
Police took Gregory Tyler Austin of North Woodmere Drive into custody at a restaurant in the Avondale area.
According to a police report, Austin texted the victim nearly 300 times in three days last week. Police say some of those texts contained pornographic messages, and other harassing statements.
The reports states the suspect was arrested and charged with Harassment 2nd Degree in November 2014. According to the the report, the victim told police she did not contact the suspect at all since his arrest last year.
