GOP Candidate Marco Rubio to discuss foreign policy in N. Charleston

NORTH CHARLESTON (WCSC) - GOP presidential candidate Marco Rubio will be in South Carolina Thursday and Friday.

He will be concluding his visit with an event in North Charleston to discuss his policy on China.

Rubio was the ranking member on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee's Subcommittee on East Asian and Pacific Affairs in the last Congress.

Last year, he visited U.S. allies in East Asia to discuss ongoing relationships and to advocate for more American leadership in Asia.

In the current Congress, as Cochairman of the Congressional-Executive Commission on China, Rubio has addressed improving human rights in China.
