Downtown Charleston streets reopen following closure for possible gas leak

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Two downtown Charleston streets have reopened following closures earlier in the day for a possible gas leak.

Charleston police say Ashley Avenue and Fishburne Street are now open.

Crews had earlier responded to the area for a possible gas leak.

Dispatch received the call around 4:32 p.m.

Police and fire crews responded.
