NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Police are investigating a report of shots fired at a bar early Sunday morning.

Charleston County dispatchers say officials responded to the Vegas Lounge on Ashley Phosphate Road at approximately 1:30 a.m. where a fight was reportedly in progress.

Officers say they saw the club's security guard holding a person at gunpoint near the entrance of the parking lot.

Police say the person, identified as Santawn Prizzie, was detained and charged with unlawful carry of a pistol, possession of a pistol with obliterated serial number, and discharging a fire arm in city limits.

Prizzie has since been released on bond for all three charges.

It is not clear whether there were any injuries.
