MOUNT PLEASANT, SC (WCSC) - Prepare to be scared as Boone Hall Fright Nights return this weekend. This year's schedule features twenty nights of thrills and chills with four scary attractions to enjoy from now through Halloween night. Zombies, werewolves, dragons and more are back again for "Zombie Town" and the "Wicked Woods Hayride." New this season, you can try to graduate from "Horror High" or put your fear of the dark to the test in "Blackout."

Trey Smith of Dream Vision Entertainment created Fright Nights in 2004. He is excited to see how it has grown through the years and says this his team is busy creating new ways to scare fans.

"Horror High is all about the fears you probably had in high school, with the worst teachers, the worst punishments you could ever imagine" Smith says.

He also say "Blackout" has already received a lot of attention. He says if you have any fears of the dark or a little claustrophobia, this may be the scariest of all the attractions.

Zombie Town has continued to be a popular attraction and is back for the third year in a row. Small groups will have to make their way through the town while Zombies come at them from all sides. When you make it to the motel at the end, you may not be prepared for what you find inside.

Smith says his team continues to up the ante on the "Wicked Woods Hayride." About 20-25 riders are together on the mile-long ride through the woods and Smith says that means the scenes really have to be big.

"At night, with the lighting, the sound, the actors, all the animatronics, everything coming to life, all of a sudden it takes on a whole new feeling" Smith says.
