Berkeley County School District approves first reading of attendance lines

BERKELEY COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - The Berkeley County School District has approved a first reading of new attendance lines. It will affect students and parents in the Cainhoy and Daniel Island areas. According to the district, it's growing by nearly one thousand students each year. Philip Simmons Elementary, Middle, and High Schools will open next year.

The schools are being built in an area off Clements Ferry Road.
