CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Charlestonians will have an opportunity Wednesday to get to know the Charleston mayoral candidates better.
A forum, put on by Lowcountry Local First, South Carolina Community Loan Fund, The Preservation Society of Charleston, and the group If you were Mayor, will address the future of the Lowcountry.
The event at the Charleston Music Hall on John Street at 5:30 p.m. It's free and open to the public.
The forum is called, "Vision for the future: Quality of Life and Quality of Place."
Each candidate will have an opportunity to make a brief presentation, sharing his or her vision for the future of Charleston. Then, there will be a discussion between the candidates, followed by an audience Q & A.
The candidates include Ginny Deerin, Leon Stavrinakis, Maurice Washington, John Tecklenburg, Toby Smith and William Dudley Gregorie.
