Charleston Co. residents asked to call local authorities for damage assessment information

Residents in Charleston County with questions about damage assessment should call their local municipalities, not FEMA, county officials say.

The county released the following municipal numbers for residents who need information:

  • City of Charleston: (843) 724-7320
  • Isle of Palms: (843) 886-9912
  • Kiawah: (843) 768-9166
  • Mount Pleasant: (843) 884-5184
  • North Charleston: (843) 740-2564
  • Sullivan's Island: (843) 740-2564

For people who live in unincorporated areas of Charleston County, including Awendaw, Hollywood, James Island, Lincolnville, McClellanville, Meggett, Ravenel, Rockville and Seabrook Island and others, contact (843) 202-6930.
