CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Even though it's Halloween, CARTA is making sure that driving or riding a bus isn't scary!
During its annual rodeo training event and competition tomorrow, CARTA drivers will maneuver through obstacle courses, with the best of the best qualifying for regional competition, which will be hosted in Charleston next year.
It's a chance for the system's professional drivers to show off their stuff.
The Competition start at 8 a.m. with paratransit. The biggest buses (40-footers) will begin running around 10:30 a.m.
The event is funded by CARTA's operations partner TransDev.
The Rodeo takes place tomorrow morning from 8 to noon in Parking Lot E at the North Charleston Coliseum. It's free to the public.
