ATLANTA, GA (CNN) - ATLANTA (CNN) - Skippy peanut butter announced a recall of one of the company's products Friday.
Several 16-ounce jars of Skippy's Reduced Fat Creamy peanut butter spread are being recalled after the manufacturer said small pieces of metal shavings may have ended up in it.
The FDA says the expiration date on the affected peanut butter is Dec. 14, 2016. You can also recognize it by the UPC code 37000-10500.
The recalled product was sent to seven states, from Delaware to Arkansas and was being sold in Publix, Target and Walmart stores.
