MT. PLEASANT, SC (WCSC) - Authorities have arrested a 59-year-old man accused of vandalizing campaign signs in Mount Pleasant.
Officials with the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division say James Bradshaw Cannon was charged with vandalizing or removing political campaign signs.
According to authorities, the incident happened at the intersection of Highway 17 and 41 on Oct. 31.
SLED officials say Kenneth Glasson campaign signs were removed without permission, and surveillance video showed a man removing the signs.
Cannon was identified and interviewed by a SLED agent.
Authorities say Cannon admitted to removing the signs and vandalizing another.
