GOP hopeful Paul joins fellow senator Scott at town hall

ROCK HILL, S.C. (AP) - Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul is back in South Carolina this week for presidential campaign events.

Paul is in Rock Hill on Friday for a town hall meeting hosted by U.S. Sen. Tim Scott. The gathering is part of a series of events Scott is putting on with all the GOP presidential hopefuls.

The town hall is scheduled for Winthrop University, which is getting a political double dose on Friday. In the evening, the Democratic presidential contenders gather there for a forum moderated by MSNBC's Rachel Maddow.

After appearing on stage with Scott, Paul goes to The Beacon Drive-In in Spartanburg for a meet and greet with Rep. Mick Mulvaney.
