MOUNT PLEASANT, SC (WCSC) - The Town of Mount Pleasant and the Charleston County Park and Recreation Commission want input on the future development of a jointly-owned 245-acre park site located along Rifle Range Road.
Town leaders have scheduled a public workshop on Nov. 19 at Laing Middle School.
The workshop will begin at 6 p.m. with a brief overview of site conditions. Public input and suggestions will then be solicited. All interested parties are invited to attend.
Other CCPRC-managed facilities in Mount Pleasant include Palmetto Islands County Park, Laurel Hill County Park, and the Mount Pleasant Pier.
Laing Middle School is located at 2705 Bulrush Basket Lane, in Mount Pleasant. The workshop will be held in the school's cafeteria.
