CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Dense fog over the weekend created a fantastic view of the Arthur Ravenel Bridge which looked like it was floating in the air.
A bout of patchy fog hit the Lowcountry early Saturday morning creating the perfect conditions for Amber Dewberry to take a terrific shot of the bridge.
"It looked like the bridge was floating on a cloud," said Dewberry who took the picture shortly before 8 a.m."It was a really amazing treat and made up for having to get up so early."
Dewberry, who walks the bridge every Saturday morning, said she was on her way back from the downtown side of the bridge when she had to stop to take the perfect pic.
"The entire bridge was covered in a damp gray fog," Dewberry said."The water below wasn't visible because the fog was so thick. It looked completely overcast as I walked up one side of the bridge. Just at the very top, the fog opened up on this section of the bridge...it was magical."
