SULLIVAN'S ISLAND, SC (WCSC) -

A Charleston County library will reopen weeks after it was damaged in October’s historic flooding.

The Edgar Allan Poe/Sullivan's Island Library on I’On Avenue is scheduled to open on Monday, Nov. 30.  It has been closed for repairs since it sustained water damage in the state’s historic flooding.

If a resident placed an item on hold at the library, it will be available at the Mt. Pleasant Regional Library.

The Edgar Allan Poe/Sullivan's Island Library is housed in a former Spanish-American War four-gun battery.
