Coroner identifies two dead after shooting incident in Summerville

LADSON, SC (WCSC) -

The Dorchester County Coroner says two men are dead following a shooting incident on Larson Drive in Summerville Monday night. 

According to the coroner, Jamal Armstrong, 22, was found shot in a car on the 100 block of Larson Drive and transported to the hospital, where he later died. 

Tyrell Miles, 23, was also found shot in the car. He was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Authorities said the call came in around 6:02 p.m.

Neighbors reported hearing gunfire early Monday evening and observing deputies looking at a car. 

According to witnesses, a portion of the road had been blocked off as investigators worked the scene.

DCSO officials said they are continuing the investigation.
