Roper Northwoods reopens after flooding

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Roper St. Francis' 24-hour emergency department in North Charleston has reopened.

According to hospital officials, nearly a foot of water damaged the interior of the building on Oct. 4 during historic flooding.

"DHEC and the SC Department of Labor and Licensing gave the approval to reopen Roper - Northwoods this afternoon after weeks of repairs were completed," officials said.
