BERKELEY COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - Berkeley County sheriff's deputies say a suspect wanted on six bench warrants has been found behind bars at the Orangeburg County Detention Center.
Earl Stroud was wanted by Berkeley County for failing to appear in court on those warrants.
Investigators say his warrants out of Berkeley County are for receiving stolen goods, possession of cocaine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of prescription narcotics, and simple larceny.
He is in jail in Orangeburg county for failure to appear in court as well.
Orangeburg County officials say Stroud was released on bond for a drug charge in April but didn't show up for a first or second appearance in General Sessions. A bench warrant issued and he was arrested again on Sept. 23.
