Teen arrested, two others sought for Savannah Highway armed robbery

Investigators with the Charleston Police Department have arrested a teenager and are looking for two other suspects in connection to an armed robbery on Savannah Highway.

Officers charged 17-year-old Antwan Grant with armed robbery.

He was locked up at the Al Cannon Detention Center and is expected to have a bond hearing on Saturday.

Grant's arrest stems from an incident on Nov. 28 at 11 a.m. when three male suspects, one of whom armed with a handgun, robbed Approved Cash Advance on 1669 Savannah Highway.

No one was harmed in the incident.

According to CPD officials, the suspect was identified through surveillance and physical evidence.

Anyone with information about this incident or the other suspects can call Consolidated Dispatch at 843-743-7200 and ask for the on-call CPD detective or Crime Stoppers at 843-554-1111.
