A representative for the North Charleston Police Department says a 15-year-old has been arrested in connection with the shooting of two other minors.

According to an incident report, it happened around 3 p.m. Sunday on Bonds Wilson Avenue.

Officers say they responded to the scene to find two male victims suffering from gunshot wounds.

They say the victims are 15 and 16 years old. One of the victims was suffering from a wound to the leg, and the other a wound to the foot.

The victims told police they were walking down Bonds Wilson Avenue when the suspect approached them on a bicycle, fired gunshots, and then ran off on foot.

Both victims were taken to MUSC for treatment.

The teen has been charged with attempted murder and is in the custody of the South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice.
