One month later, Charleston Police are still looking for a man wanted in connection with a burglary of a downtown apartment.

Officers are seeking the public's help identifying the suspect.

They say the man in the photo entered an unlocked apartment on St. Philip Street on Dec. 5 at approximately 10 p.m. and stole money from a victim's wallet while they were sleeping, according to Charleston Police spokesman Charles Francis.

Police say before leaving, the suspect said he lives near the Addlestone Library on the College of Charleston campus. The man was last seen walking east on Cannon Street to King Street.

He is believed to be between 20 and 25 years old, approximately six feet in height and weighs between 170 and 185 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes, police say.

Anyone who can identify the man should contact Detective Rough at (843) 720-2481 or call Crime Stoppers at (843) 554-1111.
