North Charleston Police are charging nine men with solicitation of prostitution after responding to complaints of prostitution from residents of the area.
On Dec. 17, the N.C.P.D. S.P.E.E.D. Team conducted a prostitution operation throughout the area where the alleged prostitution was taking place.
The following individuals were arrested on charges of solicitation of prostitution: Willie Snipe, Angel Jose-Hernandez, Joseph A. Wigfall, Tulio Arana Marroquin, Bricio Guillen-Morales, Kevin C. Foster, Travis Brown, and Thomas Cummings
In addition to those arrests, Marvin Lamont Parker, Kenneth Young, and Clarence Anderson were all arrested and charged with open container and breach of peace.
The areas where the arrests took place include Remount Road at Corner Avenue, Success Street at Troy Street, Rivers Avenue, and Stall Road.
